Just as the most laudatory reviews proclaim, Kong Thai offers great food in humble surroundings. Don't be put off by the somewhat dilapidated exterior of the orange house the restaurant inhabits. You should go to Kong Thai for the very authentic Thai food it offers in generous portions, for its welcoming atmosphere, and for its cheerful service, not for its decor. It's worth a detour to eat there.

So surprised by how great this place was. I got the tom kha soup which was delicious (doesn't have tomatoes in it despite what the menu says) and it was awesome getting to see them make my friend's drunken noodles in the wok. She loved them and says they'll feed her for 3 more meals. The service was lovely, we came in and ordered take out, then decided to sit. When we sat, the man who took our order was surprised and came over with spring rolls for the both of us, as well as bottled water. What a sweet couple and a comfortable, homey place to sit and eat. Definitely worth stop for some great thai right over the border in NH.

Another wonderful meal from King Thai! We ordered pad Thai, massaman curry, app platter for 2 and one other dish - all were so very good!

We stopped here when driving through town, though very quaint and unassuming from the outside, the food and service was excellent and quick! We dined in, though there are only a few tables it was worth it! We were given bottled water and spring rolls on the house and our food came out within 10 minutes of ordering! Everything was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Check this place out!

We had a great meal tonight from Kong Thai. The food was excellent and everything tasted fresh. We did takeout and the food was hot when we picked up. They had the food ready as we showed up and on time. The price was good and the portions were really good. I wish this place was closer. Even the crab rangoons were the best,that I have ever eaten. Very flavorful. I hope this place maintains the standard. Thank you for such great food!!!

Kong thai had some of the best thai food I've ever had. The crispy chicken fried rice was outstanding and a huge portion for lunch. I was able to eat it for dinner later as well and it was just as great. The inside was awesome and everything felt authentic. I'll definitely be coming back to try more! Thanks so much. The food was piping hot for a very long time! Kong thai is top notch

Friendly service, no-frills Thai dining with a great location, close enough to the beach. The portions were generous and they were very kind and accommodating with our dietary restrictions. For example, they were able to make the papaya salad without fish sauce.

First time here...we stopped by because of the rating on yelp We were not disappointed...food was delicious! Honestly we were not impressed by the exterior of the building and considered not trying it...but I'm so happy we did. Owner was wonderful and I can't say enough good things about the food

Delish!!! Modest, friendly , incredibly reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. I'm so glad we stopped on the way from Maine back home to RI! The mango curry was amazing.
